My college days!!

I still remember the college days,
The scorching summer and the winter haze,
The scary courses like a jumbled maze,
The Chaapo nights and the DJ craze,
While sleeping in the class, the professor’s gaze,
Skipping the mess, In the Canteen we graze,
In the world, I’m sure there is a no better place,
And that is where my heart still lays,
I don’t know what my future says,
But I remember my past in many ways,
Sometimes, it sets my present ablaze,
And sometimes it brings smiles to my face!!!

Convo hangover!!!

We were together in every celebration,

And all of us shared the same frustration,

Hours and hours of lengthy narration,

In the end, we had a fitting convocation!!!





I remember as our college days grow senile,

We used to walk together for many a mile,

And after all these years, I thought for a while,

You’re not with me, but you still make me smile!!!





When I asked for some, you gave me much,

When I was broken , you were my crutch,

Could never return the favour, but as such,

I give you my promise to keep in touch!!!





I may be miles away from you, my friend,

You know I miss you, I needn’t pretend,

Everybody said we made a perfect blend,

Our friendship won’t limit, it will extend,

I promise, This friendship will never end!!

Missin you!!

There was a melody in the air when you were here,
The moon was bright and the sky was clear,
And now I am alone with you nowhere near,
I realize how much I really love you dear!!!

Let this night melt away in silence,
And both of us don't utter a sentence,
Eventually in two ways we have to commence,
Let today be nothing but your presence!!!

Among people that are so different,
And in a land so unknown,
Looking for a good friend out here,

Once I had a lot of friends,

With you, the lectures were excellent,
And even the mess food was fine,
As long as I had your company,

Those prolonged bakar sessions in the canteen,
Till the owner gave an angry whine,
And continuing the same back to the room,

Sharing the buckets, mugs and the broom,
Everything was ours and nothing was mine,
You taught me the traits of hostel life,
Fare well, the class of ’09!!

As you pass out and enjoy,
A good life, good food and wine,
Do remember a good friend of yours,

In the lap of the Himalayas

The joy, the pain and the mirth,
And for beauty there lies no dearth,
The peaks are for ever my hearth,
This place is surely the heaven on earth!


The chirping of the birds at dawn everyday,
The brightness of the day taking the slumber away,
And the advent of evening in shades of grey,
The beauty of it all takes my heart away!

Time to move on.......!!!!!
