Helping hands!!!

Once upon a time there lived a boy named Ali. He lived in a small village Shahjahanpur.
His father died when he was five, and he was the only son of his parents.His mother used to work as a maid in some of the houses in the village for paltry allowance, so the family had to live from hand to mouth. Still, Ali's mother used to imbue in him to always be honest and helpful to others.
Atavistically the boy,Ali, inherited all what was taught to him and was the most helpful boy in village.He was very well liked and appreciated in the village for the same. Anybody who needed any household work called him up and he was always ready to help.
This habit also brought him close enemity to the scallywags at school. They bashed him as he always tried to smother the attacks on any boy who tried to resist their supremacy. Thus, he sometimes thought that this habit of his had bought him more enemies than friends in life.
Then one day,he was rusticated from school because he was letting a student cheat from his copy.
After that day, he decided that he would not help anybody and would mind his owm business.
After that whenever somebody asked for help, he would plainly refuse them. He was not remembered and even welcome anymore. He roamed about in the streets aimlessly day in and day out.
One day, when he was roaming about in the market, he noticed a macabre silence in the market. Surprised, he thought to go back to his home. Just then, he noticed that there was a huge crowd at the corner of the market near the police station. When he enquired somebody about what was happening, he told him that a woman had been hit by a car and she lay there for about an hour asking for help, but nobody did. She had eventually died after the accident. He thought-"It was in her destiny to die. I don't think she would have survived even if rescued."
Suddenly, he had an urge to look at who the unfortunate woman was, only to find his mother, lying lifelessly, and without help.

'If by doing something you make a thousand enemies and even a single good friend, that something is the best one thing in the world!!'

My days at IITR

*Sleeping in lectures, bunking the classes,
The hostel played home to acts bizarre,
And exams went by as sleepy dreams,
I’ll miss you a lot, my days at IITR!!

The mess food was never meant to be eaten,
Taking refuge in Nesci, BusT and Alpahaar
And whole trips centered around Pizza Hut,
I’ll miss you a lot, my days at IITR!!

Bakar and card sessions in the night,
And long walks to places far,
Those night-outs playing CS or AOE,
I’ll miss you a lot, my days at IITR!!

Some were busy watching movies,
Some played tennis, some guitar,
While the ghissoos burnt the midnight oil,
I'll miss u a lot, my days at IITR!!

Kisi ko CAT, GRE ki tension,
Kisi ko placement ka intezaar,
Everybody has a story to tell,
I'll miss u a lot, my days at IITR!!*

Voice of serenity!!!

*If thy ought to fight for destiny,
Or for relief from pain and agony,
Wait for the best moment in history,
Like the waves of the deep blue sea;

Some things are just not meant to be,
Thou just have to let them be,
And set thy mind free,
Like the waves of the deep blue sea;

Thou got to keep thy calm and dignity,
Whilst thy peers fight for glory,
To be or not to be,
Like the waves of the deep blue sea*

*Someday i will get you;
Without any quarrel or strife;
And that day, my love;
Would be the best day of my life;

I am tired, but I have not lost;
I will get you at any cost;
If I be able to get you alive;
Those would be the best days of my life*

*I never told her 'I Love You';
And never gave it a sincere try;
Then she went away, and said;
BIG BOYS DON'T CRY;

I could have fought the world for her;
Even have brought stars from the sky;
But alas, she is no more;
And, BIG BOYS DON'T CRY

I always tried to be what she loved:
My eyes are wet, I don't know why:
Oh, it must be raining indeed:
Because, BIG BOYS DON'T CRY*

Life teaches u a lott

Everything ends up in the end, for good or for bad, but they do end. The only thing that does not end is HOPE, and if hope also ends then it is really the end.

Life is like a flooded river and thoughts are like the silt it brings, they may settle down unyielding at the bottom and change the course of the river or they may be carried away with the river to the basin, creating a fertile land

Life is like beach sand and experiences are the waves, the sand remains there for ever but inscribed by the waves temporarily or permanently!

Everything is written, but with a pencil, and God has an eraser too!!

Life is like a cinema hall and experiences are the movie shows, they do not always have a happy ending, but each one of them teaches you a lesson!!

Hope, in life, should be like temperature, whatever be the conditions, it should never reach an 'absolute zero'!!

Always aim for a little lower than you actually can, only then will your efforts give you complete happiness n satisfaction

There is no such thing as 'permanent achievement’, a climber who ascends the highest mountain eventually has to come down and return to 'normal' life

If you really desire for SUCCESS in life, think about your family, friends and all those who would be mesmerized if you succeed, and then imagine how much you miss their happiness

Life is always longer than we think and shorter than we want it to be!!!!!
